Common questions
Will we lose data?
No. Products, customers and orders come over with you. We test the migration on a copy first, and you approve it before the final transfer.
Will our search rankings drop?
We map every old URL to its new one with 301 redirects and carry over titles and descriptions. Short-term movement is normal; rankings usually settle once search engines recrawl.
Will the store be offline during the move?
No. Your old store keeps running until the domain switches to Shopify.
Can customers keep their passwords?
No platform can move passwords into Shopify. Customers keep their accounts and order history, and receive an invite to set a new password.
Can you redesign the store while migrating?
Yes. Many stores take the chance to redesign; we plan both in the same project.
